IMG_0780.jpegPianolyn Music Studio is a wonderful place where traditional meets contemporary.  Our music studio offers a gamified approach  to enhance piano instruction.  Each of our digital pianos sync to licensed software developed by Piano Express giving both the old and young  piano novice a unique learning experience.  With such brilliant technology and excellent piano teachers, piano lesson students have the capability of learning in a group setting while moving at their own individual pace.  Group Piano Lessons allow for engagement, focus, fun, and achievement amongst all piano students.  It is our personal commitment as their piano teacher to provide each student with the highest quality musical education experience imaginable in their weekly piano lessons.  Whether it be teaching tools, affordable rates, instruction or even scheduling policies, students and families are  the priority here.  This business provides a a service that we genuinely and whole-heartedly want to serve to the fullest!  Our goal is to make life more cherished by sharing our talents through the powerful gift of  MUSIC through piano lessons!

FAQs

  • How much does it cost?
  • Monthly fees are $167 for individual students or $127 for students whose siblings are also enrolled.

  • What is included with the monthly fees?
  • Monthly fees of $167 pay for each student's individual account on Piano Express, equipment usage, and staffing.  

  • Are there additional fees besides the monthly fee?
  • There is a $60 fee at registration which covers the cost of registration as well as your first 2 sets of books.  

  • How long are lessons?
  • Lessons run for 1 hour.  The first 30 minutes is reserved for independent assessment while the last 30 minutes is used  for group instruction.

  • How young can children start? 
  • Students may start beginning piano instruction at 8 years of age.  The software works well with children and adults alike.  

  • Can adults register?
    YES!  We teach students of all ages.

  • Can my child just enroll for a summer session?
  • Learning to play any instrument takes consistency.  Enrolling a student for just one session will not give them all the skills they need to be effective musicians.  You don't need to make a lifelong commitment at the get-go, but be we encourage families to be realistic with their expectations.  

  • Do I need to buy a piano?
  • Students will need some sort of piano or keyboard to practice on at home.  We do rent keyboards and more information about rentals and leasing can be found here.  

  • How do I choose a lesson time?
  • The enrollment page will have a calendar with available time slots.  You will indicate your preferences on the form accordingly.

  • How do I get started?

  • What if I miss a lesson?  
    • Although you will still be billed for an issued lesson, you can reschedule a "make up" lesson for another day during a different time slot if you wish.
  • Can siblings/friends have the same lesson slot?
  • In some cases it may not be possible to put friends or siblings in the same lesson slots as there may be a limited availability.  Please indicate your preferences on the Questions/Comments section of the Registration Form. We will do our best to accommodate your students.  

  • Do you offer online piano lessons/distance learning?
  • Not at this time.  However, in case of an unforeseeable shutdown, we would carry on with piano lessons via distance learning/virtually.
